Why do women who take care of themselves keep buying one more jar that ends up half-used?
STOP buying the next jar because it showed up in your feed. Instead steal these 3 systems.
1. Count the shelf system.
2. Who tested it system.
Think of the spice rack back when you got your first kitchen, you bought every little jar the recipe called for and 5 years later there's the cumin, the same cumin, lid stuck on and you can't say what you ever made with it… why
Because it's rarely about which jar was a good one and more so about whether you knew what you needed it for before it went in the cart.
3. One new thing at a time system.
The reason the women who seem settled in their routine are so settled is they run these 3 systems before anything new goes on the shelf.
#whatsinmyroutine #dailyroutine
A routine you love can leave a shelf of half-used jars behind it.
This one is for the woman who takes care of herself and wants to know what's worth keeping on the shelf.
The carousel has 3 systems: count the shelf, ask who tested it, add one new thing at a time. Plus the spice rack.
Save it for the next jar that shows up in your feed. Send it to a friend who would run them too.
What's the one jar on your shelf you can't say what you bought it for?
#whatsinmyroutine #dailyroutine
Why do women who take care of themselves keep buying one more jar that ends up half-used?
A good jar matters less than knowing what you need it for before it goes in the cart.
The women who seem settled in their routine ask that before anything new goes on the shelf.
Women who take care of themselves: you've got the walk down. The rest is guesswork.
The walk is the part everyone sees. Sorting out the rest never makes the caption.
You see my morning walk. What you don't see is the years since 1995 of figuring out the rest of my morning.
Mine wasn't an overnight find. It took years, and then one January changed the plan.
And because I'm always straight up with you…when the company I worked with was sold and I was let go, was I thrown? Of course.
But looking back, I'm SO grateful for that January because it sent me back to what I'd used since 1995, gave me a nudge to build something of my own, and handed me a reason to invite friends.
So if you're in a season where the walk is the one part you've figured out, don't assume the rest should have clicked by now.
And I promise you I'm adjusting mine right NOW, too.
So give yourself permission to take one thing at a time!
You are not guessing. You're choosing 🌿
As always…I got you. Thank you for being here ☕ If you'd like to talk it over, there's a short, no-pressure Zoom where you can ask me anything, my daily routine included.

Women who take care of themselves: 6 brands deep and no idea what standard any of them meet.
Ask anyone and they'll hand you the "rules" for picking a routine: follow the reviews, copy the feed, buy what's on sale. The women who've stopped switching? They ask who set the standard before they ask the price.
(Good news, nobody's timing you…)
Pick whichever feels lightest and begin there:
• decide your question before you shop (type it into your phone, same words every time)
• turn the label around and look for who checked it (the back of the jar tells you, or it doesn't, and that tells you something too)
• ask the SAME question of everything on the shelf (the serum, the protein and the laundry soap)
That's what actually works and keeps the next pick short right now 📝

If you're near Naples, DM me about my Taste, Sip and Connect gatherings. Bring your questions and we'll talk them through in person. Anything for now can go below…

Women who take care of themselves: you think building a business means becoming a salesperson.
I hear all the "rules" about building a business in wellness, but most of my conversations happen at my house, over coffee and on walks. No pitch deck.
(It's less scary than it sounds…)
Small is fine. Here's what small looks like:
• start with one coffee (the friend who asked what's in your routine)
• say it in one sentence (what you use every day and how you came to it)
• ask one question back (find out what she's CURIOUS about before you say a word more)
That's what actually works and gets you started this week ☕
Results not typical. Individual results may vary.

Women who take care of themselves: the cabinet keeps growing and you still can't tell what was tested.
Steal these 3 systems and STOP asking your feed what to buy next.
1. Pull it all out system.
2. Date every jar system.
Think of Friday spelling tests back in 3rd grade when the teacher handed out the list on Monday and nobody in that room ever studied the whole dictionary… because
It's rarely about how much you take in and more so about knowing what's on the test before you sit down.
3. Sticky note system.
Your friend with the tidy cabinet has a sticky note somewhere. 3 questions, the same ones every time, written down before she goes shopping.

Why do women who take care of themselves brace when a friend recommends something in person?
A friend says "try this" and your shoulders are up before she finishes the sentence.
From the outside, a table of friends with something to taste looks easy. Somebody had to send the invitation first.
Mine wasn't a big production. It was an invitation to friends, and the gathering is called Taste, Sip and Connect.
And since I'm straight with you…when I sent that first invitation, was I nervous they'd brace? Of course.
I'm SO grateful for every gathering since, because each one taught me to listen first, answer plainly and let a friend take her time.
Maybe you're in a season where a friend's recommendation makes you step back. Don't assume you're being difficult.
Your answer can take as long as it takes, and I promise you that right NOW.

Why do women who take care of themselves check the brand's ad, never the standard behind it?
The "rules" for picking a brand come down to stars, demos and sales. The women with a plan go find the page behind the ad.
(Your cart will keep…)
Three steps, in this order:
• close the tab and sleep on it (the ad will keep until morning)
• read how it's made and checked before you read the reviews (that page sits in the footer, so scroll all the way down)
• line the labels up on the counter and look for the one that answers what the OTHERS skip
That's what actually works and keeps the shelf to what you'll use right now 🛒

Why do women who take care of themselves assume they'd have to do sales?
A pitch, a script, a crowd. Those are the "rules" for what a business looks like. Mine looks like a morning walk and a cup of coffee?
(You're allowed to leave all 3 at home…)
Here's what comes out:
• take out the pitch (say what you use in your routine and leave it there)
• take out the script (answer her questions in your own words, even when the words come out a little messy)
• take out the hurry (let her decide on HER time, a slow answer is an answer too)

You trusted the clean label. You trusted the feed. You still can't tell what was tested.
Got it, so here's the move. Steal these 3 systems, and STOP letting the front of the jar do your homework.
1. Back of the jar system.
2. Wait a week system.
Think of the cereal box at the breakfast table when you were 8, the front was a cartoon and the back was the word search and the ingredients list nobody skipped because it sat right there at eye level… which
And it's rarely about which side had the bigger picture and more so about which side you read.
3. Ask somebody who's used it a while system.
Whoever you text before you buy is easy to trust for one reason. She reads the back first and she waits a week.

You tried one brand. Then another. A simple routine still feels out of reach.
A settled routine looks like it was always there. Mine has a date on it: 1995.
The calm morning is the part I show. The first weeks of 1995, when it was all new, took patience.
It didn't arrive in a week, and I'd be wary of anyone who says theirs did.
Straight up: at the start, was I impatient for it to feel easy? Of course.
Looking back, the years handed me a routine I know by heart, a few questions I ask of anything new, and friends who ask what I use. I'm SO grateful I kept going.
And if you've tried one brand and then another, don't assume you did it wrong.
I promise you the shelf you have right NOW is a fine place to begin.
